Numi Scan Gosforth provides private pregnancy ultrasound (2D, 3D, 4D and HD Live), DNA-based screening (Early Gender Blood Test, NIPT in three tiers, prenatal paternity testing) and third-trimester growth and presentation scans. The clinic is registered with and inspected by the Care Quality Commission, staffed by experienced, professionally registered sonographers including a senior sonographer with over 16 years of experience, and equipped with GE Voluson ultrasound systems. Every scan is self-referral: no GP letter is required. The scan room seats Mum plus up to 9 guests, with two 46-inch LED TVs and a projector wall.

Scans here include a pregnancy wellbeing assessment carried out by a qualified sonographer. They complement NHS antenatal care, screening and diagnostic services rather than replacing them.

## Opening Hours

The clinic runs morning and evening sessions rather than a continuous day, and is closed on Saturdays.

- Monday: 10:00–13:30 and 16:30–19:30 (all scans and NIPT)
- Tuesday: 16:30–19:30 (all scans)

## Good to Know

- Self-referral throughout: no GP letter is needed for any scan.
- Mum plus up to 9 guests welcome in the scan room, children included.
- Free re-scan within two weeks (Monday to Friday) if baby's position prevents capturing what the scan was booked for.
- Clients must be 18 or over on the date of the appointment. Gender determination is offered from 15 weeks; the Early Viability Scan from 6 weeks.
- Please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment. Arriving more than 5 minutes late may mean the appointment is shortened, rescheduled or cancelled. Not attending without contacting the clinic is treated as a no-show and payments may be retained.
- £30 deposit secures a slot (£50 for NIPT, Early Gender Blood Test and Watch Me Grow). The deposit is non-refundable if you choose to cancel, subject to statutory rights. The 24-hour notice period is for rescheduling: at least 24 hours and the deposit transfers to the new appointment; less than 24 hours may be treated as a late cancellation and a new deposit may be required.
- Off-street parking at Bakers Yard, £1 for up to 3 hours, with step-free ground-floor access.
- Regent Centre Metro is a short walk; frequent buses run along Great North Road and Gosforth High Street.
